Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking an engineer with experience in driving improvements to advanced DDR, LPDDR, and HBM technologies to join their team and work on memory system architecture and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience for Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of experience for Master's degree in a related hardware engineering role
  • Deep understanding of memory sub-systems including DDR/5/6, LPDDR4/5/6, and HBM 3/4
  • History of architecting system features and test strategies for high-quality memory
  • Ability to analyze functional or test data to define short-term workarounds and long-term fixes

Responsibilities

  • Analyze future DDR/LPDDR/HBM technologies to map trends in performance, power, defectivity, and margins relative to Nvidia product segment goals
  • Work with memory system architects and external vendors to ensure memory technologies and product designs deliver high quality and reliability
  • Architect quality, reliability, and availability-based features to manage implications of high power density, increasing temperature requirements, tighter frequency or voltage margining, and new material and manufacturing variations
  • Influence vendor quality strategy and supplement it with in-house test and qualification strategy
