Senior System Software Engineer, GPU Server

Job Description

Join NVIDIA as a software engineer working on next-generation graphics and computing products. You will be responsible for building stress test applications for GPUs and high-performance computing servers, requiring strong C++ skills and knowledge of graphics concepts and algorithms.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in a related hardware/software position
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Familiarity with computer architecture and hardware technologies such as PCIE, NVLink, Infiniband, Ethernet
• Previous experience working on a large system software code base is preferable
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to self-manage, show leadership, and have good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Work closely with architecture, hardware, and driver teams through the product development lifecycle of computing and graphics processors
• Craft software tools and infrastructure for new chip development, validation, and productization
• Assess new hardware features and architect manufacturing diagnostic tests using CUDA and OpenGL extensions
• Provide robust and efficient solutions to validate and test next-generation processors
