Principal Engineer - DL and AI Software

Job Description

Lead software engineering talent needed to bring up and deliver NVIDIA's AI software stack on new hardware architectures, impacting time to market, quality, and performance.

Requirements

• 15+ yrs of experience in designing and building complex software systems, especially in C++ and Python
• Practical experience with semiconductor development workflows and system/application software bringup for next-gen hardware
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related areas, or equivalent experience
• Proven track record driving multi-functional teams, collaborating effectively, and coordinating across divisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to guide engineering teams towards creative solutions

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead technical multi-functional teams
• Drive continuous improvement of execution for faster delivery of complex software with high quality
• Supervise engineering and program execution for future-generation software delivery
• Review new product designs for technical feasibility and cross-functional complexity
• Advise senior management on design directions, software readiness, and delivery plans
• Present roadmaps, vision, and design decisions to internal collaborators and NVIDIA leadership
• Optimize resource sharing and utilization across teams to reduce time to delivery
