Hardware Validation Engineer

Job Description

Nvidia is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer for their Datacenter Systems Engineering team to work on power management controllers of datacenter modules.

Requirements

• BSEE/BSCE or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on hardware/software debug experience
• Strong understanding of digital design, circuit design analysis, and computer architecture
• Programming skills with experience in Python or other scripting languages (such as Perl, Shell)
• Hands-on lab experience with board bringup, lab debug, and lab tools (Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Responsibilities

• Complete validation plans for GPU and CPU modules, and other peripheral cards integrated into NVIDIA's datacenter products
• Electrical and functional validation of power sensors, MCU, I2C, SPI, SMBUS, and PCIe interfaces
• Develop test plans for new features and improve existing plans
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to debug and resolve any HW/SW product issues
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve validation speed and efficiency
