Metrology and Photonics Engineer

Job Description

KLA is looking for a research scientist with experience in laser photonics, optical engineering, or optical metrology fields to operate high-fluence/DUV laser systems and inspection/metrology equipment.

Requirements

• Experience in laser photonics, optical engineering, or optical metrology fields
• Proficiency in commercial Diffractive and Metalens fabrication techniques
• Track record of successful project completion on time
• Knowledge of optical fabrication, metrology, assembly, and alignment techniques

Responsibilities

• Operate high-fluence/DUV laser systems and inspection/metrology equipment
• Handle multiple vendor interactions and design reviews
• Specify, review, and validate optical systems using simulations and measurement tools
• Identify defects and process non-uniformities on Surfscan equipment
