Mechanical Design Engineer (E)

Job Description

KLA is looking for Mechanical Design Engineers to join their world-class team working on innovative inspection tools for the semiconductor industry. The role involves hands-on work, experimental lab work, and collaboration with vendors.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
• Related work experience of 3 years for Doctorate degree, 6 years for Master's degree, and 8 years for Bachelor's degree
• Solid understanding in precision mechanical design, optical and opto-mechanical design, and mechatronics
• Knowledge in heat transfer, vibrations, fluid dynamics, and manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

• Setting up and conducting experimental lab work
• Debugging and fixing mechanical components
• Redesigning mechanical components as needed
• Working with vendors to fabricate parts to specifications
