Algorithm Engineer (Deep Learning/C++)(E)

Job Description

KLA is seeking Algorithm Engineers to contribute to image processing, defect detection, and optimization algorithms in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
• Academic background in Image Processing, Computational Imaging, or Computer Vision
• Practical experience with Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence for images
• Experience prototyping Algorithms using MATLAB or Python and implementing algorithms in C++ software under Linux
• Familiarity with Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques, CUDA/GPU Programming frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow), and Data Analysis and Visualization tools

Responsibilities

• Contribute to novel image processing, defect detection, and analysis algorithms
• Evaluate and productize deep learning approaches for inspection space
• Collaborate with software and computer groups for data management and model implementation
• Develop proof-of-concepts, integrate algorithms into production code, and work in global project teams
