Electrical Design Engineer (E)

Job Description

KLA is looking to expand their Electrical Design Engineers talent community for future opportunities. The role involves producing PCB designs, system designs, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree or Bachelor's Level Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with PCB design tools such as OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle
• Knowledge of electronic blocks such as power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs
• Experience with FPGA characterization and testing
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Produce PCB designs, schematics, and work closely with layout engineers
• Characterize and test full PCB systems in collaboration with FPGA and firmware engineers
• Produce electrical system designs and work with mechanical engineers to ensure requirements are met
• Design power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, and supporting hardware
