Software Engineer

Job Description

KLA is looking for a research scientist, software engineer, or product technology process engineer to join their Film and Scatterometry Technology (FaST) Division.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 3 years of related work experience; OR Bachelor's Level Degree in the same fields with 5 years of related work experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, or similar
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for software development and maintenance on a large codebase
• Acquire knowledge of key use cases and demonstrate technical expertise in metrology software
• Participate in end-to-end product development lifecycle activities
• Collaborate with teams globally to develop and deliver software solutions
• Understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues
• Travel to other KLA sites and customer locations as needed
