Product Development Engineer (High-Performance Computing)

Job Description

Join the High-Performance Computing team at KLA's Broadband Plasma Division to work on cutting-edge HPC Computational Platforms for real-time wafer inspections.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Linux distributions such as SuSE, RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu
• Experience with configuration management utilities like Salt, Chef, Puppet
• Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash) and Python
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and x86 hardware platforms
• Knowledge of observability tools and metrics collection
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize HPC clusters based on requirements
• Create Operating System Golden Images for HPC Application workloads
• Drive Hardware/OS stack qualification with multiple stakeholders
• Perform performance tuning, compute optimization, and diagnostics development
• Manage design development efforts and support documentation for Mfg/Service teams
