Associate Test Engineer

Job Description

KLA is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to work on testing new technologies in a collaborative environment focused on innovation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of precision assemblies
• Ability to follow existing processes, procedures, checklists, and protocols
• Ability to work in clean room environments
• Demonstrate understanding of subsystem interrelations
• Experience with fine adjustment hand tools and testing equipment
• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn and strive for continuous improvement
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Perform parts cleaning and assembly of precision parts
• Alignment, positioning, and integration of cables
• Utilize sophisticated equipment for assembly verification
• Support mechanical assembly and disassembly of sub-systems
• Test, troubleshoot, and rework assemblies
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Assist in the selection and set-up of test equipment
• Validate Bill of Materials and Kit Lists
• Work on new assignments with minimal instruction
• Support mechanical tool reintegration
