Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Lead Shopify Fullstack Developer to build the Gear Shop supporting their Accessories & Gears team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technology field
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of building large scale enterprise grade systems
• Software development experience in React, Node.js
• Proficiency in developing frontend components and single-page applications using technologies like Typescript and React
• Cloud development experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of frontend/fullstack developers
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Drive the creation of custom Shopify themes through DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, advanced CSS, Liquid templating, and metafields integration
• Develop custom Shopify Apps to integrate with Rivian’s digital platform
• Develop and maintain reusable, well-documented code libraries
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends
• Oversee the end-to-end development process
