Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Senior Full-stack Data Software Engineer to build and standardize the instrumentation, aggregation, warehousing, and reporting for enhancing internal visibility and customer journey.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or any STEM discipline
• Experience using Data Warehouse technologies
• Proficiency developing API Frameworks (GraphQL preferred, RESTful API pattern)
• Proficiency developing frontend components and single page applications using technologies like typescript, React (or similar)
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructures (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity working with AWS Lambdas, Docker and Kubernetes or other serverless and container-based architectures
• Solid understanding of databases (Postgres, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Great understanding of caching, security, and privacy considerations
• Unit testing and test-driven development experience
• Systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
• Knowledge of Agile Development of Accessible Software Tools

Responsibilities

• Build transformation layers used to aggregate data from many sources for reporting views
• Design and develop full-stack products and instrumentation for applications, internal and customer-facing
• Collaborate within and across teams
• Willing to support on-call rotation as needed for Production systems
