Sr. Test Engineer, Powertrain

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to work on system level Powertrain testing for Electric Adventure Vehicles

Requirements

• BS/MS in a relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 4+ years of experience
• Experience in testing or developing electric axles and drivetrains
• Thorough knowledge of automotive CAN and CAN FD communication
• Experience in data analysis and scripting for automated data analysis tools
• Experience in dynamometer controls systems

Responsibilities

• Perform system level validation testing for Powertrain systems
• Develop test methods for electric Powertrain products
• Lead the development of new and existing test system capabilities
• Troubleshoot testing issues with test beds and devices under test
• Analyze test data, write test reports, and lead continuous improvement endeavors
