Rivian is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer to work on the electrical system design for their electric vehicles.
Requirements
BS + 10 years or MS + 8 years or PhD + 6 years in electrical engineering or related field
Experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware design
Proficiency in schematic design tools, PCB layout, FPGA development, and simulation tools
Familiarity with C programming and microcontroller peripherals
Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity, EMC, and regulatory requirements for low-voltage electronics
Experience with test and measurement tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities
Own hardware design and lead development of vehicle electrical system
Collaborate with software engineers for hardware-software integration
Simplify complex functions to drive structured requirements
Participate in safety and reliability reviews
Drive technical decisions and guide the team
Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position
