Engineering Project Manager - Infrastructure and Production Engineering

Job Description

The Engineering Project Manager role at Apple involves collaborating closely with software engineering leaders to enable strategic alignment on goals, priorities, and execution across multiple teams, while also driving large cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in program or project management in software development
• Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies and related dependencies
• Strong leadership skills including ability to build trusting relationships and influence others
• Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
• Organization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining detailed project plans, schedule, and status documentation for initiatives
• Bringing together and collaborating with large cross-functional stakeholder groups
• Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding requirements, changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information
• Presenting and communicating new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership
• Driving focus to critical path deliverables and tracking execution of dependencies
• Coordinating complex and highly dependent groups of changes through build and integration systems
• Proactively identifying risks to software delivery, developing mitigation strategies, and facilitating resolutions
