Software Development Engineer, Network Telemetry

Job Description

Apple Information Security is seeking a software developer to work on innovative technologies used throughout Apple, focusing on developing security technologies, applications, and processes.

Requirements

• Significant programming experience with Ruby, Python, Elixir, Java, Golang, Swift, C, C++, and/or Objective-C
• Skilled in cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and Microservices
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, behavioral analytics, and applied statistics
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with reading and writing SQL
• Strong test-driven approach to writing code
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years proven programming skills using standard ML tools and languages

Responsibilities

• Build strong internal and external relationships to effectively communicate secure solution designs
• Interact with all roles and levels of partner organizations
• Understand and empathize with other party's concerns and evaluate solutions
• Identify problems, establish a vision, and unite relevant owners within the business to achieve the vision
• Prepare and collect data for training/analysis and ensure data quality
• Develop security technologies, applications, and processes to secure Apple products and services
