Software Development Engineer, Network Telemetry

Job Description

Apple Information Security is seeking a software developer passionate about security to work on innovative technologies used throughout Apple. This role focuses on developing security technologies, applications, and processes to secure Apple products and services.

Requirements

• Significant programming experience with Ruby, Python, Elixir, Java, Golang, Swift, C, C++, and/or objective-C programming languages
• Skilled in cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and Microservices
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, behavioral analytics, and applied statistics
• 3+ years proven programming skills using standard ML tools and languages
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with reading and writing SQL
• Comfort with macOS, Linux, or other Unix-based operating systems
• Strong test-driven approach to writing code
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Extraordinary debugging skills

Responsibilities

• Build strong internal and external relationships to effectively communicate secure solution designs and benefits to developers
• Interact with all roles and levels of partner organizations
• Establish a vision for addressing problems and uniting relevant owners within the business on achieving that vision
• Prepare and collect data for training/analysis and ensure data quality
