Requirements

• Strong system level understanding
• Deep understanding of networking and operating system concepts
• Strong coding skills, preferably in C/C++/Objective C
• Excellent debugging skills
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Experience working with many cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Optimizing battery usage of software features across all layers in the software stack on multiple platforms
• Refining existing APIs or building new energy efficient APIs
• Developing software to help with triage of energy efficiency issues
• Working with analytics data to understand large scale trends and hot spots
