SerDes Circuit Design Engineer

Job Description

Join our high-speed SerDes team at Apple as an Analog Mixed-Signal designer working on next-generation wireline transceivers for Apple's SOC.

Requirements

• BSEE with 3+ years of proven experience
• Deep understanding of analog mixed-signal design
• Experience in high-speed serial links
• Solid understanding of various analog mixed-signal circuit blocks
• Knowledge of digital design concepts
• Experience with high-speed digital circuits
• Experience in analog mixed-signal circuit modeling and performance evaluation
• Hands-on experience in advanced CMOS technologies
• Experience with AMS IC development from definition to production
• Knowledge of timing closure and related industry tools
• Experience in lab testing of high-speed serial I/O

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits for SerDes PHY
• Evaluate different circuit topologies for specific product requirements
• Create block-level specifications and execute on transistor-level implementation
• Drive mask design for layout view implementation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IP delivery and quality standards
• Interact with peers/management to communicate progress and discuss new ideas
