Hardware Systems Engineer - Board Design

Job Description

As a member of the Silicon Validation Hardware team at Apple, you will be critical to enabling the next generation of incredible Apple products by designing and developing high-speed board designs, test and characterization circuits, and debugging system level problems.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Computer or related degree program with at least 10 years of experience
• Experience designing complex high-speed embedded systems with demonstrated record of success

Responsibilities

• Developing specifications based on requirements from cross-functional teams
• Schematic capture, circuit design, layout definition, design review, and simulation
• FPGA and CPLD development
• Board bring-up, testing, characterization, and debug
• Power and signal integrity analysis
• High-speed interface design and characterization
• Debugging a wide range of issues on test boards and production systems
