Mixed-Signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer

Job Description

The Mixed-signal Behavioral Modeling Engineer at Apple will be responsible for translating custom mixed-signal circuit schematics into efficient SystemVerilog behavioral models for high-level simulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of digital logic gates, clocking, and state elements
• Solid understanding of logic and behavioral simulations
• Familiarity with writing scripts in PERL/Python and basic algorithms
• Basics of digital signal processing and numerical analysis
• Basics of probability and statistical basics

Responsibilities

• Translating custom mixed-signal circuit schematics into efficient SystemVerilog behavioral models
• Interacting closely with circuit design teams and DV teams
• Running simulations and formal equivalence tools
• Coding targeted checks within representative models
• Writing scripts and simple tools for automation
