SoC Power Modeling Engineer

Job Description

Join Apple's Silicon Engineering group to work on modeling power dissipation of various IPs including AI/ML and design state-of-the-art ASICs integral to Apple products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
• Programming skills and understanding of low-power digital design and power fundamentals
• Experience with SOC power modeling and current demand
• Skills in scripting, data analysis, and working with EDA tools

Responsibilities

• Modeling power dissipation and power delivery for various IPs
• Establishing voltages for DVFM states of IPs including Neural Engines, CPUs, Graphics, and accelerators
• Interacting with Technology, Silicon Validation, and Product Engineering teams
• Collaborating with power lab and test teams for model correlation
