Mixed-Signal IP Firmware Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking a results-oriented and hardworking FW Design Engineer to develop firmware for critical FW features for IPs inside SOC.

Requirements

• BS degree in technical discipline
• Proven excellence in FW development using C and assembly language with ARM CPUs
• Solid understanding of MCUs and ISR
• Experience with version control tools (git, Perforce)
• Experience with real-time operation system
• Understanding of mixed signal concepts
• Familiarity with RTL or Verilog
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware in C to implement critical FW features for IPs inside SOC
• Understand IPs by reading their specifications
• Support post-silicon bringup, validation, performance characterization, system integration, and debugging
