Framework Software Engineer, Enterprise Systems

Job Description

The Framework Software Engineer will be responsible for building tools and features for Data and ML platforms at Apple, designing custom solutions and extending the functionality of BI tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java and/or Python
• Experience designing and developing scalable microservices and REST APIs
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications/products
• Working experience with Big Data technologies and data platforms
• Strong communication and personal skills
• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Building various tools and features for Data and ML platforms
• Working on custom solutions or customizing open source products for Apple's needs
• Building innovative tools and frameworks that extend the functionality of 3rd party BI tools using APIs
