CPU Implementation Engineer

Job Description

Apple's Silicon Engineering Group is hiring a CPU Implementation Engineer to work on block-level implementation.

Requirements

• Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant experience
• Logic design and digital circuits knowledge
• Experience in TCL or Perl

Responsibilities

• Work with micro-architects to define micro-architecture and assist with design feasibility
• Drive RTL-to-GDS design convergence through optimizations
• Responsible for block-level design delivery and closure of backend flows
• Collaborate with internal CAD and PD methodology teams on industry standard tools
• Work with x-functional top-level teams on CPU floorplan, timing, power, reliability, and testability
• Collaborate with custom IP teams to define and optimize memory macros and standard cells
