Machine Learning Research Engineer (Computer Vision) - SIML, ISE

Job Description

The System Intelligence Machine Learning (SIML) organization at Apple is seeking Research Engineers with expertise in Machine Learning and Computer Vision to work on developing advanced multi-modal human sensing technologies.

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Proficiency in Python, Pytorch or similar DL frameworks

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and deploying state-of-the-art visual recognition systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather product requirements and translate them into actionable plans for ML research and development
• Effectively communicating results and insights to partners and senior leaders
• Staying updated with the latest trends in machine learning, computer vision, and natural language understanding
• Contributing to the ML community by sharing research ideas, enhancing shared infrastructure, and mentoring colleagues
