Software Engineer - Linux Driver Developer - Thunderbolt/USB/PCIe/Displays

Join Apple's Silicon Validation Software team to work on the latest high-speed technologies and collaborate with architects to develop and validate high-speed IPs in Apple products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or related field
• Experienced in embedded Linux kernel development
• Strong C programming skills
• Knowledge of Computer architecture and Operating system fundamentals
• Experience with USB, PCIe, Thunderbolt, Display, and Networking Linux frameworks
• Experience with Bash/Python programming

Responsibilities

• Work closely with designers and architects to understand functional IP blocks and their use-cases
• Implement BSP and perform software bringup on pre and post-silicon platforms
• Develop Linux device drivers and user-land tests for sophisticated SoCs
• Debug and root-cause hardware and software issues
