SoC Validation Engineer

Join Apple's Silicon Validation Team to focus on silicon validation, debug, and root cause analysis using system workloads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant proven experience in silicon validation engineering or related field.
• Experience with SoC bring up.
• Experience with System debug.
• Knowledge of computer architectures, logic design, and script languages like Python, Perl, or Tcl.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional test writers to define validation plans for Apple SoCs.
• Execute system tests on prototype SoCs across various corners.
• Debug issues, isolate failures, and work on root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with domain experts, define DoEs, and test possible workarounds.
• Provide feedback on product operation voltages and recommend improvements.
