Sr. Machine Learning Engineering Manager, Intelligent System Experience

Job Description

The Intelligent System Experience (ISE) team at Apple is seeking a senior ML leader to shape how future devices perceive, understand, and anticipate human interactions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading ML research teams
• Expert-level knowledge of SOTA in large auto-regressive transformer models, multi-modal encoders, and representation learning
• Strong organizational skills and experience working with large cross-functional and diverse teams
• Strong programming skills in Python, maintaining ML code-bases grounded in software engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Advance human interaction modeling at a system level and core ML algorithm level
• Invent and develop techniques for modeling natural human interactions with objects, devices, and humans
• Deliver solutions that can be readily adopted in production pipelines
