Wireless MAC Design Engineer

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong digital logic design fundamentals
• Experience in translating functional requirements into synthesizable Verilog or SystemVerilog RTL
• Knowledge of digital design flows such as RTL simulation, synthesis, lint, STA, and LEC
• Experience in ASIC microarchitecture and RTL design
• Understanding of wireless standards like IEEE 802.11, 802.15, Bluetooth, or 3GPP
• Understanding of ASIC low power design techniques

Responsibilities

• Prepare microarchitecture and RTL for wireless MAC based on functional requirements
• Participate in HW/SW partitioning discussions with engineering teams
• Work with physical design, DFT, Power, and CAD teams for MAC IP completion
• Support verification/prototyping/emulation teams during pre-silicon activities
• Support post-silicon validation, system integration, and debug efforts
