Audio Software Test Engineer

Job Description

The Audio QA - AirPods Team is seeking a test engineer to develop testing solutions for audio software in Apple's AirPods products.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in audio test engineering
• Advanced understanding of macOS and iOS platforms
• Expertise in Audio Testing, isolating issues, devising test plans
• Familiarity with real-time audio handling and Python
• Knowledge of Apple software developer tools, electronics, and audio technology
• BS/BA in Computer Science, Audio Engineering, or Music Technology

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the quality and testing of Apple AirPods products
• Work with peer groups to define and update team test plans
• Communicate testing progress and issues found
• Lead test areas and champion improved quality
• Adapt to new technologies for effective audio testing
