SWE - Machine Learning Technical Lead, Data Engineering

Job Description

Apple is seeking an exceptional engineering lead to work with the ML Data Ops team, focusing on building high-quality ML datasets to power AI-centric features for Apple products.

Requirements

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• 7+ years of industry experience as a software engineer
• 2+ years as a tech lead/architect specialized in data infrastructure
• Experience designing, automating, and scaling large data pipelines using state-of-the-art technologies
• Expertise in Python or another modern programming language

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various partners to assess needs and design strategies for ML data engine
• Identify opportunities for improvement in internal infrastructure offerings
• Design and execute roadmap for adoption of new components
• Improve automation workflows, data visualization tools, ML enrichment, and more
• Be hands-on and implement high-quality code
