Sr. Operations Engineer, Robotics

Job Description

As a Sr. Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage challenging cross-functional projects, developing automation and material handling solutions as part of the facility network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and implementing automated equipment and integrated systems
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
• Experience supporting deployment of new product/technology and large material handling and automation installations in a construction environment

Responsibilities

• Manage challenging projects independently with internal and external teams
• Participate in engineering reviews and impact proposed solutions
• Set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules
• Lead execution efforts in delivering systems and automated equipment designs
• Coordinate installations, qualifications, and system optimizations
• Lead effective meetings and communicate project status
• Articulate system and/or equipment designs to internal customers and partner teams
• Support change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice validation
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
