Systems Development Engineer, ADC2S

Job Description

Seeking top industry technical experts to grow the team dedicated to expanding Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to government customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to improve the lives of customers through improvements to tools, processes, and documentation
• Work with a team of highly motivated and talented systems developers and systems engineers
• Implement and operate some of the largest and most complex distributed systems in the world
• Consult with the top engineers at Amazon and discuss radical new approaches to automate operational issues
