Sr. Safety Support Engineer, RSE

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is seeking exceptional individuals to support the safety performance of critical global operations by preventing and reducing risks related to new technologies, products, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science field
• 5+ years of experience applying safety principles in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Knowledge/experience with OSHA regulations, EU safety standards, and industry safe work practices
• Ability to be on-call including weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Resolve safety-related technical problems using support processes and tools
• Track and manage issues through resolution phase
• Provide technical guidance to operational teams
• Create problem resolution procedures and identify new tools
• Collaborate with Engineering and Safety teams for safety solutions
• Contribute to safety Design Reviews and Risk Assessments
• Evaluate systems for meeting safety requirements
