ECAD Application Engineer, Project Kuiper Satellites

Job Description

Project Kuiper initiative aims to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit by providing fast, affordable broadband to underserved communities worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as an Application Engineer for CAD tools
• 3+ years of experience with frontend and backend ECAD tools
• 3+ years Enterprise Tool administration experience
• 3+ years of developing and documenting engineering processes related to ECAD tools and engineering activities

Responsibilities

• Provide stable, reliable ECAD tools and database management for electrical engineering design
• Anticipate tool needs, support users, and develop processes for leading-edge satellite constellation development
• Work with end users to troubleshoot projects, propose infrastructure improvements, automate processes, and research new tools/technologies
