Job Description

Senior Software Engineer position in the Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) team at Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on delivering the best container running experience on AWS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Helping to make AWS the best place to run containers by delivering core functionality for Kubernetes at scale
• Working on challenging technical problems in distributed systems and cloud computing
• Building high-impact solutions rolled out to a large customer base worldwide
