Job Description

Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer responsible for full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers ensuring design, maintenance, and improvement for continuous operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Valid US driver's license and reliable personal transportation by start date

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures
• Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training and complex operating procedure reviews
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades and solutions for capacity, availability, efficiency, and sustainability
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability in services delivered
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS’s data centers
• Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions
• Initiate and lead engineering audits including on-site visits within Amazon’s data centers
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects
