Software Development Engineer, Ads Console Security

Job Description

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join the Ads Console Security team to work on critical security infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience building scalable infrastructure software with a distributed systems approach
• Experience developing cloud software services
• Development experience defining, developing, and maintaining REST based interfaces

Responsibilities

• Actively take part in concept development and idea generation
• Build and iterate to express design intent using appropriate tools and techniques
• Effectively manage dependencies and bottlenecks
• Effectively present work to all levels of leadership
• Be an effective collaborator in a cross-functional team
• Mentor and develop junior developers
• Own all operational metrics for the product
