Sr. Embedded Engineer - Flight Software, Kuiper

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities globally. We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience leading design/architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hardware and operation teams to align on requirements
• Create software designs to meet specifications
• Develop embedded software in modern languages for Linux and RTOS systems
• Write device drivers and system applications for satellite systems
