Sr. Systems Development Engineer, ADC Analytics

Job Description

Join Amazon Web Service's world class technical team in either Denver, CO or Herndon, VA to work on building some of the largest distributed systems in the world and offering them to Dedicated Cloud customers.

Requirements

• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
• 2+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems experience
• 4+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Deep experience working with Linux in a large-scale, distributed environment
• Understanding networking technology and how servers and networks inter-relate
• Taking part in deep-dive troubleshooting and conducting technical post-mortem discussions
• Building and deploying solutions across thousands of devices
• Improving and streamlining processes to allow for work on a massive scale
