Job Description

OpsTech IT Wireless Engineering role at Amazon focused on delivering software-defined, automated, and scalable Wireless network infrastructure products to improve reliability of wireless services for fulfillment centers and transportation sites globally.

Requirements

• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl experience
• 5+ years practical relevant experience
• Deep understanding of IP network fundamentals and packet capture analysis
• Experience in Wifi or other managed RF networks operations and engineering
• Analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Identifying, developing, and delivering technical solutions to improve wireless network availability
• Partnering with peer teams to find technological solutions for customer problems
• Defining and metering network availability, ensuring it meets customer needs
• Reducing operational impact and providing scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient services
• Investigating and resolving complex problems affecting customer experience on Wifi
• Participating in on-call rotation and implementing metrics for wireless availability
