Network Development Engineer, AWS Center for Quantum Computing

Job Description

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena, CA, is looking to hire a Network Development Engineer in the Quantum Infrastructure and Production group.

Requirements

• 4+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
• 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certified

Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, and scale network infrastructure across new and existing mission critical environments
• Develop proposals and influence without authority to align business and technical stakeholders on approach
• Identify and troubleshoot recurring networking, routing, and platform issues towards resolution while engaging with mid and senior-level engineering teams
• Create and review documentation and processes for new builds, standard operating procedures, strategic planning, etc.
• Identify and deliver on opportunities to automate repeatable networking tasks by creating and maintaining scripts or tools
