Sr. Software Engineer- AI/ML, AWS Neuron Distributed Training

Job Description

Senior Machine Learning Engineer role at AWS Neuron for the Distributed Training team, responsible for development, enablement, and performance tuning of ML models including Large Language Models, Vision Transformers, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in building distributed training support into Pytorch, Tensorflow using XLA and the Neuron compiler and runtime stacks
• Tune models for highest performance on AWS Trainium and Inferentia silicon servers
• Collaborate with chip architects, compiler engineers, and runtime engineers to create and tune distributed training solutions
