Sr. Software Engineer- AI/ML, AWS Neuron Distributed Training

Job Description

Annapurna Labs is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work on distributed training solutions for AWS Neuron, focusing on ML model families including Large Language Models, Stable Diffusion, Vision Transformers, and more.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to build distributed training support into PyTorch and JAX using XLA, Neuron compiler, and runtime stacks
• Optimize models for peak performance on AWS custom silicon
• Work with chip architects, compiler engineers, and runtime engineers to develop and tune distributed training solutions
