Sr. Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer to join their rapidly growing EV marketplace team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
• 6 months of previous internship or work experience on complex electrical systems
• Good understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals
• Experience with scripting language for data analysis

Responsibilities

• Work with hardware designers to develop the next generation of control electronics for Rivian vehicles
• Develop and validate electromagnetic models to predict circuit behavior in real-world environments
• Test ECU and vehicle design margins in EMC laboratories
• Develop systems engineering models for sub-system EMI Source/Victim interactions in vehicles
• Feed into electrical and mechanical integration and wiring harness design
