Sr. Software Systems Engineer, Autonomy

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Software Developer to work on developing and integrating software for Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years (Bachelor’s)/2+ years (Master’s) professional experience in Software Development
• Proficient in programming with C, C++, Python, and bash scripting
• Experienced with software debugging, general root cause analysis, and working with cross-functional teams
• Understanding / knowledge of ADAS and Autonomy features including sensors like radar and camera
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and continuous integration concepts for developing and implementing software including git

Responsibilities

• Development of application code to implement parking features and other low speed maneuvering features
• Development and maintenance of software unit-tests
• Development and execution of feature and sensor test cases and test scripts
• Collaborate with autonomy development teams for end-to-end automated driving feature development
• Lead code reviews, review and approve code, and provide technical guidance & recommendations
