AV Support Engineer I

Job Description

The AV Support Engineer will provide service and support for AV/VC systems at Amazon, troubleshooting issues, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with partner teams for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a related technical field or equivalent industry experience
• 2+ years of experience in the AV sector with a proven record of effectively commissioning, configuring, troubleshooting, or installing corporate AV systems
• Experience with AV technologies such as Extron, Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, Shure, and Poly
• Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• On-site troubleshooting of AV systems including complex integrated systems
• Communicating with manufacturers and vendors for equipment repair or replacement
• Working closely with partner teams for continuous improvement of customer experience
• Maintaining communication with customers and stakeholders via ticket documentation
• Collaborating on technical documentation and SOPs based on field learnings and customer feedback
