Job Description

The Network Development Engineer position at AWS Infrastructure Services involves working on next-generation IP networks and collaborating with a diverse team to deliver high standards of safety, security, and capacity at a low cost for customers.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center and/or WAN network environments.
• 4+ years experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems.
• 1+ years of experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop network solutions to meet business and customer requirements.
• Lead network projects in areas such as network sustaining engineering, deployment/implementation, scaling, technology refresh, and optimization.
• Operate and troubleshoot network routing, inter-connectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues.
• Collaborate with various teams to deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable network solutions and processes.
